General Guidelines:
First Point -
- Med stays in spawn and buff our sniper until enemy sniper is killed.
- Uber push with demo or heavy is most effective through our left side.
- Push when med is dropped or when sentry is destroyed.
- Take control of hill.
- Effective push can be ubered heavy/demo through B Shack and drop down on sentry to take it out.
- Engie should try to set up normal/mini sentry on B Shack balcony to suppress enemies.
- Scout can hide behind and push cart and cap with their sentry still up. This will give us more pressure to put on the other team with closer spawns.
- Sniper can get picks while hiding behind cart while going up the upper ramp.
- Pyro spy check a lot because there are lots of hiding places for spy decloak.
- Use cart as cover when pushing.
- Take hold of upper levels to gain height advantage.
- Demo and soldier can spam projectiles at sentry and enemies from above.
- Spy try to take down sentry.
- Use cart as cover when pushing the cart to the objective.
- Ubered demo is most effective for this push to take down sentry and enemies.
- Effective push can take place from windows or yard.
Defending:
First Point -
- Everyone suicide at bottom of hill so engie can use metal to build. Engie and med don't suicide.
- Hold stairs with combo, soldier and scout watch flanks.
- Engie builds sentry at bottom of hill, teleporter and dispenser behind Batts.
- Sniper takes out enemy med and sniper.
- Spy goes for demo, heavy, and med picks.
- Engie builds sentry on porch or under B Shack.
- Sniper and scout can watch flanks.
- Sniper can pick off enemies out of sentry range.
- Spy and sniper are very good here for big picks.
- Sniper can hide on ramps and get picks.
- Engie place dispenser in balcony house and sentry close by.
- Combo holds balcony house.
- Spy flank through under ramp.
- Sniper can stay as the back of yard as they push cart to objective.
- Engie set up sentry in yard and dispenser around the corner next to ammo box.
- Sniper stay at back wall or in spawn balcony.
- Engie set up in nest.
- Spy flank through basement.
- Combo holds the corner to yard.
Individual Class Strategies:
Scout -
- Be general annoyance for other team.
- Be able to dodge lots of incoming fire and distract.
- Always be on cart.
- Stick with soldier when on defense.
Soldier -
- Lots of cover to spam projectiles from.
- Watch flanks.
- Stick with scout when on defense.
- When on defense, be the scout's safeguard for when he's annoying the other team. Protect him.
Pyro -
- When on cart, reflect any projectiles coming at it when pushing.
- Stay with combo.
- Spy check very often, lots of places for spies to hide.
- Airblast any enemies off cliffs if you have the chance.
Demo -
- Stay with medic.
- Spam lots of pipes and stickies.
- Lots of places to hide or peek out from and take down sentry.
Heavy -
- Main caller.
- Stay with medic.
- Use sandvich to heal others.
Engineer -
- Lots of good sentry spots to set up at.
- Wrangled sentry can be very good.
- Always try to keep buildings up.
- Put dispensers in good places accessible for teammates.
Medic -
- Stay with heavy, demo, and soldier.
- Heal anyone who needs health.
- Uber heavy or demo when pushing.
- Always watch your back for spies, even with pyro spy checking.
- Pop it, don't drop it.
Sniper -
- Look for big picks such as medic, demo, heavy, and soldier.
- Watch your back for spies; consider running razorback or jarate if you want.
- Stay back and get picks.
Spy -
- Look for big picks such as medic, demo, heavy, and soldier.
- Flank through side paths.
- Take down sentry yourself or sap and stab to initiate push.
- Use Ambassador to get long ranged picks.
General Guidelines:
- When the anyone gets a big kill like medic or spy takes down sentry, PUSH OFF OF THAT.
- Always protect the medic, you've done a good job at that and keep it up.
- In your free time please train. Practice makes perfect.
- Whenever we push, non-ubered classes should focus on taking down their pyro. A single pyro can destroy a push and cost us the point.
